U.S. Navy aviator officer’s cap
This is a fairly uncommon hat since the green naval aviator’s uniform may only be worn by officers assigned to squadrons or wings. Moreover, since the uniform is so rarely worn, most of the pilots and others who are entitled to wear it don’t bother to buy one. The scrambled eggs on the visor indicate that this is for a Captain/Commander. Many thanks to Al in Pensacola, Florida.
